Travel Specialist – Intern

Reports to:

Travel Manager & Travel Operations Supervisor.

 

Job Purpose:

Assist Travel Coordinator in handling of travel arrangements for individuals, groups and organizations, including scheduling flights and ground transportation, booking accommodations, restaurant reservation, meet & greet, visa processing and handling all other services, both internal and external clients may require.

 

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Manage travel arrangements as required for internal and external clients:

1. Planning and managing travel arrangements such as hotel bookings, airline flights, ground transportations and etc. as per company travel policy for internal clients travelling in business trips.
2. Planning and managing travel arrangements such as hotel bookings, airline flights, ground transportations and etc. as per staff requirements for internal clients travelling in personal trips.
3. Analyze and study the flights of the external client and recommend the best hotels, ground transportation and other services as per Travel Department policy and procedures.

• Handle emails and telephone calls within the agreed service agreement.
• Maintain and update the Sales Report in all services for both internal and external clients for Travel Billing Records purposes.
• Analyze and check all requested services through OCC Team if HOTAC is required as a Sales Lead.
• Process payment and forward all the related invoices to Accounts Department.
• Maintain commission and refund records for accounting purposes.

• Excellent team working skills including working across functional boundaries.
• Excellent standard of written and spoken English, Ukrainian and Russian, and other language(s) is a plus.

Qualification:

• Degree in Travel (desirable).
• University degree (desirable).
